由於這個月稍早兩位以色列警察在耶路撒冷遭槍擊殉職，因此以色列在耶路撒冷安裝金屬探測器。然而，遭到巴基斯坦的抗議，巴基斯坦認為以色列想藉此提升其對耶路撒冷的控制，以色列則回應歡迎提出其他解決之道以取代金屬感測器。

Israel installed mental detectors at Jerusalem in order that two policemen were killed earlier this month. However, the measure discontented Palestinians, who alleged that Israel is trying to dominate this sacred place. As for Israel, they responsed that they welcome any other suggestions to replace mental detectors.

Though president Donald Trump has trying to repair the relationship between US and Russia, the US Congress passed a bill that impose sauctions on Russia, which is because of allegations of Russian interfence in the US election. EU has expressed anger about the bill, since it may hurt energy companies.

美國對俄羅斯的態度相當兩極，一邊是總統試圖與俄國親近，一邊是議會竟試圖通過制裁俄國的法案，可見其內部意見的歧異程度。
